IPSWICH Rugby club kick off the new season tomorrow night with a full scale friendly match against Hadleigh at Humber Doucy Lane (kick off 7.30pm).

New players will be welcome as Ipswich will be using the game as a trial for the start of the new league season on Saturday September 7, when Ipswich's first game in the London League Division Two North is away at Letchworth.

Mike Hancock, Ipswich's director of rugby, said: "We are always on the look-out for new talent, if anyone comes along we will be prepared to give them a run out to assess their ability."
