The Federation Ladies representative Vicky Mitchell and secretary Barry Crutchfield organised a questionnaire on the future of ladies cricket and made contact with all Suffolk clubs. This resulted in a very encouraging response and all clubs who responded positively have been invited to attend the meeting at Bury.
Jenny Day, the ECB Regional Ladies Cricket Development Officer, will attend the meeting as will Rod Blackmore, the Suffolk Divisional Officer. Any club or individual who is interested in the development of ladies cricket is invited to attend.
Anyone who requires more information, or cannot attend the meeting but wishes to be involved please contact Vick Mitchell (tel: 01394 385207) or the FSCL chairman Chris Watson (tel: 01728 628782).
