IPSWICH skipper Jim Magilton today admitted: "We have not been showing promotion form."
The influential midfielder sees Saturday's visit of in-form Crewe (kick-off 3pm) as an ideal opportunity to put that right.
Magilton, 34, is not under-estimating Dario Gradi's team, whose shock FA Cup defeat by non-league Telford cannot overshadow an impressive run of just one loss in seven league outings.
But he stressed: "We haven't really re-ignited after two hot months in October and November.
"We've had a poor five or six weeks and in the end it will be our home form that decides whether we're going up or not.
"We're not satisfied with our recent run – we need to show more quality. You can't deny that three defeats in our last five home games isn't promotion form."
