Bramford United 0 Capel 5

THIS was not the one-sided game that the score might reflect. Bramford made a lot of the early running only to concede a goal in Capel's first attack. Tynan was left free to beat Leggett from 12 yards.

Following this set-back Bramford had the ideal chance to get back on level terms when they were awarded a penalty. Unfortunately, Ditcham's hastily took kick flew over the bar. This let-off seemed to inspire Capel and after absorbing some Bramford pressure scored their second goal in a rare attack. Tynan turned provider for Parker who headed home powerfully.

Capel quickly increased their lead when Tynan ran unchallenged through the defence before picking his spot. Bramford's neat one touch football was still producing chances but all of these were wasted. Capel scored their fourth when Tynan slotted home to complete his hat-trick. Innis acquitted himself well on his debut as a second-half substitute for Bramford. The woeful scoreline was completed when Parker scored Capel's fifth from the penalty spot.
