FOLLOWING a morale-boosting victory over Hertfordshire in their last Eastern Counties League match, Suffolk have named their team to face Norfolk in the Middleton Cup at the Felixstowe & Suffolk BC tomorrow (2pm).
It is a new-look team for this first round robin match, with several players unavailable for various reasons. Suffolk will give debuts to Roger Adams (Felixstowe & Suffolk), David Hay (Margaret Catchpole) and Marcus Fuller (Rookery).
Adrian Holden returns to skip a rink after having a season's rest from Middleton Cup action, and Andrew Friend and John Chalk make returns after several years away from the county scene.
Following last week's Middleton Cup results, Suffolk can almost put paid to Norfolk's progress to the next round as they lost their opening match 17-5 against Hertfordshire at home. The other result in Suffolk's group saw Huntingdonshire comfortable overcome Essex 19 points to 3.
Suffolk team
John Rednall, Andy Meikle, David Wellington and Adrian Holden.
