SUFFOLK'S crucial ECB 38-County Trophy group game against Bedfordshire at Woodbridge School will start at noon on Sunday.

The scheduled start has been put back an hour as part of a reciprocal arrangement for when Suffolk travel to Luton to face Bedfordshire in their three-day Minor Counties Championship match from August 4-6.

There will be free admission and car parking to Sunday's match, which is being sponsored by Gotelee and Goldsmith solicitors. There will also be a barbecue and a beer tent for the public.

The winners on Sunday will progress to the quarter-finals and a home tie on Thursday, August 1 against the Sussex Board XI. The final takes place at Lord's.

Suffolk are set to give a debut to former Cumberland batsman and Teddington coach Andrew Mawson. Bill Athey is unfit.
