ORWELL Volleyball Club is on the lookout for new members ahead of the new season.
It trains at Ipswich School in Henley Road, which has one of the best sports halls in the county, each Wednesday from 8pm to 10pm.
Don't be put off if you're a complete rookie, as club chairman Julia Hicks confirmed.
She said: "We have a qualified and experienced coach to help beginners to learn the game, or more
experienced players to improve."
Nor does it matter how old you are, with Julia admitting: "Players' ages range from 13 to the point when they'd probably rather not tell you!"
She added: "We have male and female players of varying skill levels, while we have teams playing in both the local Suffolk League, as well as in the Eastern Region League.
"Anyone who is interested in playing is welcome to come and have a try at no cost – just come along on a Wednesday night and we'll take it from there."
