DISS youngster Elliott Page put on an excellent display for the England under-19 Elite Colleges side as they beat their Welsh counterparts on Sunday.
Page was part of the England side that ran out 8-0 winners at Porthcawl Rugby Club in Wales but the second-row from Thorndon said they should have won by a larger margin.
“The game went really well but we should have won by about 40 points,” he said. “I would say about 80 per cent of the game was played in their half.
“We've come together over the last few weeks and I think initially that nerves got the better of the boys. But we all overcame that to get the win. I came off the pitch thinking that I could have done better but a lot of my team-mates and the coaching staff complemented me on my performance.”
