Paul Barber’s well-struck free-kick saw Pauls FC win the Suffolk FA Sunday Shield.
Barber’s 32nd minute effort was sufficient to settle a low-key final 1-0 in favour of Pauls against opponents Elite 405 at Felixstowe & Walton United FC on Sunday.
In a game of few chances Barber struck the decisive blow from nearly 30 yards, with goalkeeper Matt Clarke getting a hand to the ball but unable to stop it.
