WHITTON United manager Kevin Cunningham is already looking ahead to next season (writes Elvin King)
He takes his side to play Norwich United in the First Division of the Jewson League tomorrow unhappy with his lowly position.
But he said everybody at the club is positive and as long as that remains he can see improving times ahead.

"We need to continue the stabilisation of Whitton, and with a competitive budget next season we can hopefully show improvements on the park."
Cunningham, who has ex-East Bergholt manager Paul Skingley as coach, said that only in two games have Whitton been poor this
season.
"We were awful against Needham Market and Downham Town, but otherwise we have played well without having the best of luck," added Cunningham.
"The First Division is the strongest it has been since Whitton moved up from the SIL and Norwich United are likely to be one of the title contenders."
Run to promotion
Needham Market can still make a second half of the season run to promotion and they are at home to Halstead in an intriguing game, with inconsistent Hadleigh United paying a visit ambitious Stanway Rovers.
In the Premier Division, Felixstowe and Walton United need points after their home defeat by Ipswich Wanderers last Saturday when they visit Soham.
Wanderers are at home to Tiptree while Stowmarket look to extend their unbeaten run at Maldon and Woodbridge Town
travel to Bury Town.
In the Metaltec SIL Senior Division, Haughley United can make up ground on leaders Walsham with a victory against second-placed Ipswich Athletic.
Haughley look to have the most realistic chance of competing with Walsham and Grundisburgh for the title although Athletic on their day are more than a match for anybody as they proved when they beat Grundisburgh in the Omnico Cup last week.
Bottom club Ransomes will see their trip to Stanton as a chance to gain welcome points, as the west Suffolk side have had a miserable time in the league in recent weeks and could get dragged into the relegation mire.
Bramford United, like Stanton, beaten by junior opposition in the Omnico Cup visit Capel Plough looking for a boost.
