ENGLAND players received backing from Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle today for their decision to stage a block boycotting of the press.
Following their 2-1 victory in Poland in their World Cup qualifying group not one member of Sven Goran Eriksson's side talked to the waiting media.
“They have come to an agreement after criticism that they obviously felt was over the top,” said Royle.
