IPSWICH Town manager Joe Royle today insisted that he would not swap his strike force for any in the First Division.
The Blues have netted just one goal from open play so far this season – from 17-year-old substitute Dean Bowditch in the 1-0 Carling Cup win over Kidderminster on Wednesday.
But 19-year-old Darren Bent came close on numerous occasions in that match and he will certainly start in attack at Crewe tomorrow.
Who partners him may depend on what Royle sees in training today and he declared: "Marcus Bent and Pablo Counago had good pre-seasons but have dipped a bit since the season has started, but I know they are very good players who will come good.
"I would not trade the strike force I've got at this club for any in this league.
