SANDIE Lister, the highly-experienced Ipswich Ladies' coach, has been added to the squad for their home game tomorrow with Clifton.

The inclusion of the former Great Britain and England midfielder, whose hockey nowadays is mainly confined to the Tuddenham Road club's third team, will come in for the injured Lizzie Aldous.

Lister's presence, whether in the starting line-up or as a substitute, will be enough to make Clifton think and they will not be able to regard the English Hockey League Premier Division fixture as a foregone conclusion.

Aldous was hurt in an accidental collision with a Bradford player in last Sunday's cup match and suffered a knee injury which will keep her out of action for at least two weeks.

With Clifton having beaten Ipswich 5-0 earlier in the season, they may feel confident of completing the double, but the Suffolk side should not be underestimated, despite their indifferent league form this season.

With the exception of the game against Bradford, Ipswich have been struggling to score in recent matches and it will be a tough game if the trend continues.

Midfielder Vicki Sandall is back from injury and Ipswich will need her to play a major role in the game with her creative passing ability.

Clifton have young Millfield pupil, Imogen Robertson, who has been in prolific goalscoring form and has 14 to her credit so far, while the tricky Denise Marston-Smith is also another player that needs to be carefully watched.

The following day, Ipswich travel to Cannock to play the league leaders Leicester, who will be feeling confident after last week's single goal victory over Slough.

Leicester have a number of England players in their line-up and Ipswich will need to be a tight unit in defence to keep out the home side's Purdy Miller.

Their second team also face a tough test tomorrow when they take on Sevenoaks, newly crowned champions of the Printwize East League's Premier Division.

Sevenoaks are unbeaten and will be a hard side to beat, although Ipswich have Hannah Robinson back in goal, as well as the outfield duo of Jo Gray and Sally Tyrell.
