CLUBS in Suffolk are reminded that a cricket coaching scholarship is available for a promising young player in the county.

This is the third year of the scheme run courtesy of the Cliff Piper Memorial Fund, set up in memory of the former Suffolk player and administrator who was county vice-chairman at the time of his death in 1997.

Clubs should send their nominations for anyone under 18 to Toby Pound, Suffolk CCA Secretary, 94 Henley Road, Ipswich IP1 4NJ by July 31.
