JAMES Scowcroft, who makes his home debut for troubled Leicester against old club Ipswich on Saturday in a match that could be make or break for manager Peter Taylor, said today: "The boss has been let down and it's got to be put right."
Taylor, who bought attacker Scowcroft from Portman Road last month for £3.5 million, is under fire from Foxes fans after a disastrous start, a 5-0 home defeat to Bolton followed by a 4-0 loss at Arsenal.
Scowcroft, a one-time Blues player of the year who made his debut at Highbury after missing the Bolton debacle with injury, said: "I'm sure Peter Taylor can go on to enjoy many more years at this club. A good result is badly needed on Saturday and we all know it."
