ONE of skipper Charlie Farrow's "hit list" teams visit Tuddenham Road tomorrow as Ipswich East Suffolk's survival plan swings into action.

With just four games left, IES must record at least a couple of victories in order to give themselves a chance of staying in Premier Division A of the Printwize East League.

Their performance in the 4-2 defeat against leaders Harleston Magpies last week has given Farrow and his team-mates cause for optimism and they view opponents Clacton as a side from whom they must take all three points.

The Essex side have fallen away recently while IES only lost 2-0 on their notorious Vista Road pitch in November and have every incentive to gain revenge.

Kevin Day is unavailable for the second team's visit to St Neots who are one place ahead of the Rushmere-based side in Division Two North, while the thirds face a trip to Walthamstow to take on Crostyx thirds.

The home side are still in the scrap to avoid relegation while IES, who gained a creditable 2-2 draw with Witham seconds thanks to goals from Ian Suckling and James Klug, are in safer waters.

Goalkeeper Duncan Vaughan was the star of the fourth team and while he could not prevent a 2-0 defeat by Upminster thirds, he at least saved his side from a heavier beating and will be in action against Witham thirds.

Fourteen-year-old Peter Gallagher, whose mother, Annie, is a playing stalwart of Ipswich Ladies, made his senior debut for the club in the fifth team's thrilling 4-3 win over Felixstowe thirds and they need to win their last league game tomorrow at Brentwood sixths to stay clear of relegation.

Goals from Barrie Whelpton and Ian Reed were not enough as the sixth team went down 3-2 to Brentwood sevenths and they felt hard done by when a late equaliser was ruled out.

Tomorrow they will do well to avoid defeat against runaway leaders Crostyx fifths.
