FANS of Ipswich Witches speedway star Mark Loram have been sending in their get well soon messages to the 36-year-old after he suffered a badly-broken left thigh and a fractured arm in a horrific spill at Foxhall Stadium on Thursday 22 March.

Mark started his speedway career with Hackney in 1988 and first rode for Ipswich the following year. He is an Exeter asset and has ridden for King's Lynn, Exeter, Bradford, Wolverhampton, Poole, Eastbourne, Peterborough and Arena-Essex.

In 1997 he won league title with Bradford and has been a regular member of the Team Great Britain team. He was also British champion in 1997, 1999 and 2001 and by far his biggest achievement to date was winning the world speedway championship in 2000 - for which he is the last Britton to do so.
