IPSWICH goalkeeper Matteo Sereni looks like escaping suspension after being sent off in the recent draw at Leicester.

IPSWICH goalkeeper Matteo Sereni looks like escaping suspension after being sent off in the recent draw at Leicester.

The Italian number one was dismissed by referee Barry Knight after a confrontation with the home side's Robbie Savage.

Town vowed to fight the decision and I understand they will be informed by the FA that the red card has been rescinded.

There will also be good news for Leicester and their player, Lee Marshall, whose red card for a clash with Martijn Reuser is also set to be wiped out.
