Hadleigh travelled to Haverhill for what they new would be a vital game as the season soon ends.
Haverhill took the lead even though Hadleigh were having 90% of the play and were unfortunate not to score at least 10 goals in the first half,
Haverhill's keeper was outstanding and all credit to her. The half time score was 1 - 0 and early into the second half Hadleigh surged forward again and midfielder Clare Mallor finding space in the D to score her first goal of the season and what a great goal it was!
It was a very exciting game but Haverhill used a lot of body contact to try and gain some reward. Hadleigh were awarded free hits and set pieces which they were unable to convert.
Haverhill's first goal was from a penalty short corner and their second also, they
Had two chances to score in this game and they did.
Hadleigh kept strong and composed and were also awarded a penalty corner for
which Fiona Brice cracked the final goal home to keep the score level pegging. Fiona Brice for being awarded umpires player of the match.
