IPSWICH Town chairman David Sheepshanks today declared: "In a perfect world we would not be selling Thomas Gaardsoe."
But the reality is that the Blues' Danish central defender is set to put pen to paper on a contract at West Bromwich Albion today.
The Baggies are paying £500,000 now with possibly more to come later, especially if Albion are promoted back to the Premiership.
