THE long-running and acrimonious transfer saga involving Cristiano Ronaldo is closed, Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has insisted.
The mercurial winger has been publicly courted by Spanish giants Real Madrid all summer and has hinted that he would like to play for the club.

He said the matter was “finished” and added: “He'll be playing here next season, believe me.”
