SOUTH Africa made it into the semi-finals of the Rugby World Cup this afternoon eventually overcoming Fiji 37-20.
Down by 20-6 at one stage during the second half, gallant Fiji fought back to draw level.
However, following a move which culminated in the Fijians being denied another try and the lead by a last-ditch tackle, the Springboks pulled away after a scoring blitz in the final quarter.
They now face the winner of tonight's Argentina v Scotland quarter-final, next Sunday at 8pm (BST)
