BASEMENT club Harwich & Parkeston suffered complete humiliation against the visiting champions.
Sudbury helped themselves to five goals in a 20-minute spell during the early stages of the first half. Terry Rayner opened the scoring and Gary Bennett was on hand to score with a low shot.
On 15 minutes, defender John Bishop hit number three and five minutes later, Lee Norfolk made it 4-0 to Sudbury. When Claydon struck number five, all Harwich had left was their pride.
It was no surprise when livewire Andy Claydon added another two goals towards the end of the first half.
Harwich showed a little more application but still could not prevent the visitors scoring through Anderson, Betson and Bennett.
