WHEN it comes to being in a bit of a slump formwise, Ipswich Town's soccer team is on a crest of a wave compared to Suffolk's indoor bowlers who slumped to their fifth consecutive defeat in the Eastern Counties League.

Suffolk really were never in the hunt against their opponents, Norfolk, who are having a good run in the Liberty Trophy this season.

At Shotford Alfie Chambers' rink did look like gaining a point for Suffolk, but lost on the final end by one shot, after having been in the lead for 20 of the 21 ends.
