Over 100 competitors will be participating in the annual closed championships held at the Corn Exchange, Ipswich this Saturday and Sunday (March 15 & 16)

The Grand Hall will see seven match tables hosting the Men’s and Ladies’ Singles, Men’s and Ladies Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Divisional and Junior events.

There will also be an exhibition of Fred Perry memorabilia including the World Table Tennis Men’s Singles Winner’s Trophy from 1929, Perry being the only player ever to win Wimbledon and become World Table Tennis champion.

Sunday’s finals will be attended by Ipswich Mayor Hamil Clarke and will start at 7pm.

The doors open at 9am both days until 4pm, it’s free to the public, as is the Sunday’s Finals Night, starting at 7pm
