IPSWICH Evening Star Witches speedway rider Tobi Kroner will be aiming to make progress towards a 2009 Grand Prix place when he rides in a qualifying round in Abensberg, Germany today.
The 22-year-old reached the final qualifying meeting last year and has been in great form for Ipswich, winning every reserve heat at Foxhall Stadium this season - eight races.
He is set to go into the Witches team proper for the home Elite League meeting against Eastbourne on Thursday - with Piotr Swiderski dropping down to partner Chris Schramm at reserve.
