THE Suffolk PGA have scrapped their Winter League because of lack of interest, but announce that the strokeplay championship will be held at Woodbridge on Tuesday, September 9, next year.
Andrew Sleath, secretary of the PGA, is starting is his final year in the job while Tim Cooper (Newton Green) has completed his term of office on the committee and his place has been taken by Brian Allen (Southwold). Frank Hill (Thorpeness) remains as chairman.
Dell Bower is continuing as president of the Suffolk PGA.
