ROGER Finbow is set to become the second Ipswich Town director to quit the board.
The 51-year-old solicitor is ready to quit just weeks after Lord Richard Ryder decided to step down.
Finbow, a partner in the leading London law firm of Ashurst Morris Crisp, accepted chairman David Sheepshanks' invitation to join the board in June 1996.
He was the first new face on the board after Sheepshanks took over at the helm from the long-serving John Kerr ten months earlier.
But I understand Finbow, who attended Woodbridge School and now lives at Higham, near Colchester, has now decided to sever his ties with the club.
