IPSWICH stars Jim Magilton, Richard Naylor and Fabian Wilnis are all on the brink of signing new one-year contracts.
Boss Joe Royle said: "I've had a firm 'yes' from both Jim and Richard and I spoke to Fabian's agent the other day. I don't envisage any problems."
But Royle was giving nothing
away as to who is likely to succeed the departed Matt Holland as the new captain at Portman Road.
Experienced midfielder Magilton appears to be the fans' favourite for the prestigious role, but Royle is not ready to make an announcement just yet.
