WHEN these sides met eight days ago three players were sent off and Stanway went on to win 5-0. Tonight's game was played at a frantic pace but it was timid in comparison. Stanway had the best of the first half but they missed a host of chances with Curtis and Clewley the main offenders.
In the second half Stanway were made to pay when Cracknell scored from 25 yards in the 75th minute. Gaston hooked the ball home from close range with a minute of normal time remaining to salvage some pride following last week's game. Stanway now go into the next round with a 5-2 aggregate score.
