LENNART Johansson, the UEFA president, will officially open the new Greene King Stand at Portman Road before tomorrow night's UEFA Cup clash between Ipswich and Helsingborgs.

LENNART Johansson, the UEFA president, will officially open the new Greene King Stand at Portman Road ahead of tomorrow night's match.
"We are very excited that he is coming to represent UEFA," says Town chairman David Sheepshanks who continued: "I met him during my time as Football League chairman when we were negotiating getting a UEFA place back for the winners of the Worthington Cup. We are very pleased and privileged that he has accepted our invitation."
The official unveiling of the stand, formerly know as the Churchmans Stand, will signal the completion of one of the clubs most ambitious projects, which began in June last year.
The finished stand seats 4,268 people with an added facility for 48 disabled spectators.
Of the game with Helsingborgs, Sheepshanks says: "We will not be taking them lightly at all and you can be assured we will have done our homework.
"I know things have not quite clicked in the Premiership but we are looking forward to it."
