TRIMLEY Red Devils can complete a memorable league season when they visit Bramford Road Old Boys' reserves tonight.

Already crowned champions of Division Five, flying Red Devils are set to be the only Metaltec SIL side to go through 2006/7 unbeaten.

And it gets better - as the Red Devils were unbeaten in the last nine matches of last season.

Goals have been no problem this term with 143 scored; Rob Kerr claiming 29 and Shaun Stannard 23. And just 16 have been conceded in 25 games.

The current side is the natural progression from a youth team that has been running nearly 30 years with most of the squad former youth side players.

This is Red Devils' third season in the SIL and they won Division Six in their first year.

Mike Davies is long-term manager, and skipper Tony Gavin and midfielders Andrew Leeson and Steve Skeet assist him with

training.

Brother Aaron and Richard Swann epitomise the dedication at the club as they have missed just three games between them in three seasons - and this includes both attending their sister's wedding.

The team's average age is 22 with Lorrinda Hall secretary, Virginia Davies treasurer and Wainwrights Estate & Land Agents sponsors.

Division Four beware the Red Devils are determined to keep their aiming high in 2007/8.
