MARCH contributed to an excellent Jewson League First Division Knock Out Trophy second round game and even had two corners in the first minute.
But Swann soon broke away to score with an angled shot after linking with Hurd. March replied through McCullum who headed just wide. Then Swann found the net again after eight minutes when from 35 yards his shot found the far corner of the net.
Whitton's third goal took a while longer – a neat turn and Swann completed his hat-trick with an angled shot into the corner.
Brooks, in the March goal, made several good saves before Swann's persistence allowed Wright to slide in number four.
The final goal two minutes from time was a great Whitton team move – intricate passing allowing Hurd to score across the keeper.
