IPSWICH Evening Star Witches are in danger of losing out on a lucrative top three Sky Bet Elite League finish in the aftermath of the Hans Andersen world cup final controversy.
The club has been in turmoil this week after the Dane was accused by Witches' skipper Scott Nicholls and rider/manager Chris Louis of unfair riding in the last heat at Poole on Saturday when Peter Karlsson beat Nicholls to win the gold medal for Sweden.
