Woodbridge Athletic 2 Bramford United 0

ANY neutral watching this game could have been forgiven for thinking that Bramford were the unbeaten side as they dominated the game for long periods.

The truth of the matter is Woodbridge Athletic took their chances and consequently remain unbeaten and at the top of the league.

Bramford had an early chance but Bird who had beaten the offside trap had his tame shot easily held by Dixon. Rumens and Laird were the pick of the Woodbridge side. Woodbridge had gone ahead against the run of play when Calver collected Brooks short pass to give the keeper no chance. Woodbridge seemed to be much more aggressive in the second-half and their substitutions seemed to pay benefits for them.

Boardley had a run down the wing but his cross was just too far in front of the incoming forwards. Calver wandered unchallenged through the Bramford defence to net Woodbridge Athletic's second and concluding goal.
