IPSWICH YM Hawks welcome Felixstowe to Rushmere Road. This Suffolk Merit League 2 derby is set to attract quite a lot of support from the touchline, as both sides are battling to finish the season top of the table.

Although Felixstowe are currently top, the Hawks have beaten them three times already this season and another victory today will bring the YM side within two points of the league leaders.

Felixstowe's Andy Osbourne said: “Felixstowe will be seeking revenge against the one team that has tarnished their unbeaten record in the league this season.

“In the last two weeks we have faced off against Eastern Counties sides Southwold and Ipswich Magpies, and although the results were not convincing, the performances were strong and consistent. With confidence and a will to stay top of the league, the Badgers are prepared for a battle and expect to finish victorious.”

The Hawks will miss their captain Matt Quinton, and influential scrum-half Matt Bryant, who are both unavailable this weekend. However, coach Andy Moore is still confident his side will be able to get back to winning ways after last week's disappointing defeat at Essex University. The match kicks off at 2pm.

Felixstowe 1st XV: Carr, Stack, Morris, Stephenson, Miles, Fobbester, Coster-Reeve, Croain, D. Long, Britchfield, Stennett, Anderson, Clarke, M. Long and Bignell. Replacements: Brimicombe, Hurley, Brown and Freeman.
