A celebration of beer, sausages and music was enjoyed by hundreds of festival-goers at a Suffolk attraction over the weekend.
The Sausage and Beer Festival returned to Jimmy’s Farm in Wherstead near Ipswich for two days of “funky music, best quality bangers and real beer”.
Musical acts including X Factor winner Matt Cardle, pop rock trio Dodgy and Ipswich youngsters Polar Collective took to the main paddock’s “Truck Stage” to fill the air with “beautiful lyrics and uplifting beats”.
Elsewhere, in the Cookhouse, professional chefs including Valentine Warner, James Barber and Gennaro Contaldo entertained the crowds with their cooking prowess. And each evening the farm restaurant was transformed into a Tryolean beer keller, with long tables, oompah music and a specialist sausage menu.
