IPSWICH: Big Dance Goes East aims to get everybody in the town up and dancing.
The national initiative, which hits Ipswich on July 10, will include mass dances with former Come Dancing presenter Angela Rippon, Morris Men on the Cornhill and an appearance by acclaimed dance company ZooNation at Jerwood DanceHouse at 7.30pm as well as a wide range of taster classes at the Waterfront venue for just �1 throughout the day.
All ages and abilities are being invited to come and get up offa that thing and dance with DanceEast and New Art Club at Christchurch Park at 12.30pm, Arras Square at 1.30pm and at the dance house at 2.30pm.
World renowned ZooNation create innovative pieces of hip hop dance theatre. Their work includes the award-winning West End Show Into the Hoods - a taste of which will be presented later in the day - representing the UK at the handover Olympic ceremony in Beijing and they performed for Nelson Mandela at his 90th birthday celebration in Hyde Park.
