Ipswich’s CSV Media Clubhouse has lined-up a great way of celebrating its move - but it needs your help.
It’s looking for 650 people to give up one hour of their day to form a human chain connecting its old building in Princes Street to its new home at the former Crown Court. Pooley Removals Company, providing in kind professional moving support on Tuesday and Wednesday, have already signed up to take part.
Meeting at CSV at 5.30pm, its jigsaw piece and other symbolic items will be passed down the chain. Photographs will be taken of people participating and their names included on a plaque in the new premises.
The chain will go up Portman Road, under the traffic in Civic Drive to the court so no roads will be crossed. Refreshments will be available on the day.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of history, all are welcome and we particular would like groups to be represented, including organisations, charities, scouts, colleges, companies, work teams etc - especially if you have a uniform, logo, T-shirts as this is a chance to promote your work,” said Cad Taylor, creative coordinator of the Recreate Project.
People interested in taking part should register at www.incrediblehumanchain.eventbrite.co.uk
