The 42-year-old self-styled Rambo and 19-year-old Stephanie, a Girls Aloud reject, have been set a secret mission to convince the rest of the house that they are an item.
Mario's real-life girlfriend, Lisa Appleton, 40, who is in the house with him as a fellow contestant, and politics student Luke Marsden are the only other housemates in on the con.
But the fake couple are already bickering about the task which, if they fail, will see the quartet nominated for eviction.
However, it is thought that Big Brother is planning a live wedding for Sunday's show - a sure test of their acting skills.
Should they succeed in their task, all the other housemates will face eviction.
