Highly-acclaimed Americana band Police Dog Hogan will take to the stage in Suffolk next month.
The band will perform at Ipswich County Library on November 7 and will be supported by local acoustic duo Honey and the Bear. The library will have an alcohol licence for the evening.
Banjo player Tim Dowling, who is also a Guardian columnist, said: “We’re really looking forward to playing in Ipswich. It will be only the second time we’ve ever played in a library.”
Portman Road is mentioned in the band’s song ‘No Wonder She Drinks’.
Tickets cost £12 and are available at www.ticketsource.co.uk/date/161592 or at Ipswich Library.
