Rapidly becoming our annual date, my (eldest) teenage daughter and I were looking forward to our return visit to see Sally - and yet again, we were not disappointed.
Being a bit more prepared this year, we were more ready to accept her immediate connection with the spirit world, which was pretty much from the moment she took to the stage.
It’s a big audience in the Corn Exchange, although it wasn’t full, so you have to be prepared that the chances of you getting a personal message are probably unlikely so we settled back to watch and enjoy the show.
Although there were a lot of names and messages that were unclaimed, there were also many that one could not fail to dispute - including plenty of humorous and heart wrenching moments, which couldn’t fail to touch and impress.
The audience were very warm and open with Sally, which led to some very personal stories being shared.
In hindsight, it’s worth increasing your chances of being picked by completing one of Sally’s Love Letters or popping a photo of a loved one in her box, something I had forgotten from last year. Even without direct contact coming through for us, it was still a thoroughly entertaining, surprising and emotional evening.
Jo Reeder.
