Thousands of people ran through the streets of Ipswich today for the Simplyhealth Great East Run - can you see anyone you know in the pictures?
More than 3,500 runners laced up their boots and took on the half marathon.
Determined runners began their challenge on Russell Road, went through the town centre, on to Holywells Park, along the Waterfront, out of the centre passing Fox’s Marina, Suffolk Food Hall and under the Orwell Bridge. The finish line was then on the practice pitch at Ipswich Town FC’s Portman Road stadium.
Hundreds of spectators also filled the streets of Ipswich to show their support for the runners. The atmosphere was brilliant with cheers, posters of encouragement and never ending high fives as participants passed.
Have we captured you pacing through the town or offering high fives? Make sure you share this article with people who took part.
