UK pop outfit Scouting For Girls turned Ipswich’s HMV in Tavern Street into an intimate performance venue today.
Fans queued outside the store to see the three-piece band perform live and sign copies of their new album Still Thinking About You.
Dozens of excited fans sang along with the band, led by frontman Roy Stride, to hits including Heartbeat, which was on the band’s triple-platinum debut album.
They also introduced lesser-known songs of the latest album, which was released at the end of last week.
About the new album, which has been released under East West Records, Stride said: “We tried to make a collection of songs that worked together, which we’d never really done before, and we wanted to make songs that connect truthfully and emotionally.
“It’s about being instinctive, and honest.”
