The top-rated Dutch circus is presenting a brand-new show for 2018, which will be in the park from Wednesday, September 26 to Sunday, September 30.

The show is two hours long and is aimed at the whole family, featuring a mix of acts including comedy, juggling, acrobatics, aerial performances and hand balancing.

It will be a blend of traditional circus acts and more modern sequences, so there should be something to appeal to everyone. Clowns, illusions and amazing circus cycling are all among the entertainment on offer. It is an all-human show with no animals involved.

The circus will be staged in a climate-controlled big top, which was being set up in the park on Tuesday to get ready for Wednesday’s opening.

Nationally, circus entertainment has been given a massive boost this year by the box office smash success of the film The Greatest Showman, starring Hugh Jackman, which tells the story of circus king PT Barnum.

Shows will take place at 4.45pm and 7.30pm from Wednesday to Saturday, and on Saturday night there will also be an extra show at 7.30pm. Then on Sunday there will be extra shows at noon and 3pm. It is also possible to organise circus birthday parties including entry to the show and a chance to meet the star clown.

As a special offer, all first-day tickets are available for £7. Prices vary on other days. Discounted tickets are available online from the circus website.
