Strictly Come Dancing star Natalie Lowe and former champions Jay McGuiness and Louis Smith are bringing their new show Rip It Up to the Ipswich Regent.

British gymnast Smith won the BBC show with Flavia Cacace in 2012. The Wanted singer McGuiness lifted the glitter ball with Aliona Vilani the following year. All three will swing, bop, jitterbug, lindy hop, jive and ballroom through the greatest songs of the 1950s. It also features BBC Radio Two’s Leo Green with musicians, dancers and singers.

Created by the team behind Remembering Fred, starring Strictly pros Janette Manrara and Aljaz Skorjanec, Lowe said all three were excited about the new tour which comes to Ipswich October 17.

The dancer, who recently revealed she’s leaving Strictly, is also at the Ipswich Regent on May 27. She will perform alongside fellow ex-Strictly star Ian Waite in Somewhere In Time, featuring new versions of their favourite Ballroom and Latin dances.
