Think you’ve got what it takes to get The Voice’s judges to turn their chair for you? Here’s your chance to prove it.

The search is on for new singers to take part in the new series which moves over to ITV next year. Talent scouts are visiting open mic nights around the country, including PJ McGinty’s in Ipswich later this month. They’re after soloists, duos or trios no matter what style of music you’re into.

The open mic night at the Northgate Street pub kicks off at 8pm, March 20. Applicants must be 16 by October 1 this year, although PJ McGinty’s is an 18-plus venue.

If you can’t make the open mic night, or are under 18, but still want to apply for The Voice 2017 visit www.itv.com/thevoiceuk for more details.

Speculation continues as to whether Will.i.Am, Boy George, Paloma Faith and Ricky Wilson will return as judges.
