Fresh from sell out performances across the globe – including London’s O2 Arena at the weekend – some of the planet’s greatest action sports stars will pull off death-defying stunts, tricks and world firsts that have yet to be seen even in competition.

Known for their freestyle motocross, BMX and skate riding routines highlights will include the Nitro Bomb, with every rider flipping simultaneously; FMX trains with riders slicing through the air wheel-to-wheel and the infamous 40ft Giganta ramp launching a host of ridiculous contraptions like trikes, a penny farthing, a lounge chair, a bathtub and more into the sky.

“We’re so excited to bring the biggest, most daring action sports production ever staged to the UK. Our insane group of athletes perform stunts you literally cannot see anywhere else on the planet. We’re constantly pushing each other to break records and do things people previously thought was physically impossible,” said Michael Porra, Nitro Circus’ CEO and creative director.

“We had an epic time in the UK this year and we were pumped on just how many people came out to see us. Now we’re ready to show a whole bunch of new cities and towns what we’re all about. This is our first series of UK outdoor shows and we’re performing at some awesome locations.”

Nitro Circus began in 2003, with Jeremy Rawle, Gregg Godfrey and extreme sports superstar Pastrana producing DVDs from a garage in Utah. It became a hit TV series, airing in more than 60 countries; followed by Nitro Circus: The Movie 3D in 2012. In the last six years, the live show has been seen by for more than two million fans.

Dean Cox, PR and corporate manager for Spedeworth Motorsports, said it was thrilled to bring an event that has sold out huge stadiums around the world to Ipswich’s Foxhall Stadium; adding it would give businesses in and around the town a massive boost.

“Nitro Circus first approached us around the end of November (so) we’ve had to keep things very secretive for a while. Through audience research we’ve seen fans are blown away, saying it’s the most exciting show they’ve ever seen.

“It’s a fantastic event on the international scene and to be staging it at Foxhall is a real feather in our cap. We think it’s a terrific facility and both camps are incredibly excited. I think it’ll be a great evening’s entertainment.”

The show is on June 25 and you can sign up for pre-sale tickets now via www.nitrocircus.live. They go on general sale from 10am Friday. Fans can also enjoy the Nitro Club Experience, exclusive passes which include the best seats, the chance to meet and quiz the stars and more.
