This season we have followed the X Factor journey of Ipswich girl Ten Senah, who sadly did not make it to the live shows.

But during her time on the show she formed close friendships with some of the finalists. Here she gives her views on last night’s results show.

“I’m so shocked about the double elimination this weekend. I feel bad for Overload Generation because having met these guys, I saw how much they were fighting to go far in this competition,” she said.

“They work so hard, but I think Simon was right that they needed to find a niche in the market because we already have One Direction doing amazingly well at what they do.”

She continued: “I hit it off straight away with Jazzy and Ruby when I met them...these girls’ energy is infectious! I love them to pieces but I do believe the right decision was made to send them home because in my opinion, they’d make for a great reality show, but with how tough the competition is, I don’t think they could have brought what the public and the judges were looking for...musically. That’s just my opinion.

“I’m glad the public voted for Steph to stay because her voice is so unique and distinctive; she brings something different to any song and the show itself. Plus she’s a sweetheart so I really hope Overload Generation fans give her a break.”

What do you think? Did the judges make the right decision? Do you agree with Ten’s views?
