A Newmarket racecourses’ horse and carriage will be stopping in Ipswich as part of its East Anglian tour.
The Newmarket racecourses’ horse-drawn carriage is touring East Anglia this week to celebrate The Moët & Chandon July Festival.
The road-show started yesterday, June 26, in Peterborough and then travelled to Cambridge and Chelmsford.
The carriage will arrive in Ipswich today at 2.30pm at Giles Circus and will be there for an hour - its final stop will be in Norwich tomorrow.
The horse and carriage will be promoting the popular Adnams July course which will take place at Newmarket Racecourse on July 12-14.
Members of the public will be invited on a short carriage ride where they will receive a free glass of champagne, or a soft drink, and will be invited to sample exclusive July-themed nibbles created by head chef at Newmarket Racecourses, Damian Adams.
The public will also have the opportunity to win seven prizes by entering a prize draw.
Amy Starkey, regional director of jockey club racecourses East region, said:
